Curtis Eaddy- Week 1 Posting- Introduction to My IT Journey

 Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! My name is Curtis, and I’m currently pursuing a degree in Project Management at Bellevue University. I’ve been working as a manager for over 10 years, during which I’ve developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. While my background is not strictly in IT, I’ve always been interested in how technology supports business operations and improves efficiency. That curiosity is what led me to take this course and start this blog.

My experience with technology includes hands-on learning from past classes and everyday use in the workplace. I’ve seen how important it is to understand both hardware and software, especially when working with systems, troubleshooting issues, or collaborating with technical teams. Through this course, I hope to build a stronger foundation in IT concepts and gain practical knowledge that I can apply to project management. I believe that a solid understanding of technology will enable me to lead projects more effectively, communicate more effectively with IT professionals, and make more informed decisions.

I’m looking forward to sharing what I learn each week, connecting ideas to real-world experiences, and growing my knowledge throughout this journey.
